Aquarius - 2010 Stars Work: While 2010 is destined to be an extremely lucky and expansive year as far as income opportunities are concerned, the professional forces in your chart this year are more subtle, with a surge in career opportunities not kicking in until later in the year. Yet it's the fact that things are understated that suggests that it's less about gaining financially from heroic effects and more about benefiting from what you have earned, from effort already put in. While things will remain understated on the work front for the majority of the year, that can't be said for events on Day 1 of the New Year, with lunar eclipse in your work sector on the 1st January, that puts things in your face. Yet as urgent as things appear to be and no matter how much it takes you by surprise that here you are on New Years Day, focused on work or your job situation instead of being in holiday mode, this is merely a day for receiving the message and not necessarily taking action.
The Moon will be gone from your work sector by the 3rd January, but it's likely to be the right wake up call, at the right time. The eclipse falls when and where it does because the South Node is in your work sector and will remain here all year, creating some firm bottom lines that you're unwilling to cross or back down from and it's because 2010 is such a lucky income year, that this lunar eclipse reminds you to draw the lines from Day 1. Apart from new work opportunities between the 20th May and the 23rd July, peaking with a total solar eclipse in your work sector on the 12th July, it's the last 3 months of the year that provide an opportunity to move up a few rungs on the ladder. It's on the 9th September that Venus reaches your career sector, but rather than spend the 4 weeks she normally spends here, attracting opportunities and expanding your professional desires, she will spend in excess of 3 months. Her first visit runs from the 9th September to the 8th November, but she'll return again from the 30th November 2010 to the 8th January 2011. This, along with support from the Sun, Mercury and Mars make the last 3 months of the year especially auspicious for career, professional and income opportunities. It's interesting to note that Venus moves into your career sector on the 9th September, the same day that Jupiter returns to your income sector. . Love:
As you move into the New Year there is still a lot of unfinished business, especially on the relationship front. The year begins with Mars, planet of passion in retrograde motion in your relationship sector and he will remain in retrograde motion until the 11th March. This gives you a chance to retrace your steps, to take a few steps back and either resolve old issues, lay old conflicts or ghosts to rest or resolve anything left up in the air. As far as your relationships are concerned, the early months of 2010 isn't the time for pushing things forward, rather for strengthening and resolving anything already in motion.
It's from the 11th March that the focus will be on the future, with the 14th June through to the 23rd August a time for real advancement on the relationship front, peaking with a New Moon in your relationship sector on the 10th August. While things may be slow to take off on the relationship front, the same isn't true for things on the romantic front. From as early as the 19th January Venus, planet of love will bring an opportunity for romantic encounters. In your sign from the 19th January to the 12th February, this is when you're able to set your romantic expectations for the coming year. The most romantic weeks of the year fall between the 25th April to the 20th May, when Venus visits your romantic sector, but the whole period through to the 25th June will see romantic opportunities open up at the same time that there is real traction on the relationship front. The year won't reveal one of its biggest surprises until near the end of the year, with a total solar eclipse in your romantic sector on the 21st December, the first in nearly 2 decades. Here fate and destiny conspire to create an opportunity for auspicious new beginnings. Money:
As you move into 2010 you are very likely to still be carrying the scars from the extreme financial challenges that 2009 held, still reeling from the effects of a Saturn/Uranus opposition that played out between your financial and income sectors. Yet in the nicest possible way, the message that greets you as you move into 2010 is to 'get over it', for while 2009 was an extremely challenging financial year, 2010 is one of the best. While it may appear to be a case of fickle stars that can't quite make up their mind, the same conditions that created so many challenges last year, develop to a point where they're able to create real opportunities. Uranus is the planet of surprise and the unexpected, the planet that rules the way you intellectualise things. He is also your ruling planet and you are therefore a lot more affected by conditions that affect him. When Uranus is under pressure, as he moves through your income sector, then you're going to feel the pressure as well. Uranus has been in your income sector since 2003, but it was only since late 2008 that the pressure really began to make its presence felt, pressure that was coming from Saturn, moving through your financial sector. However, as you move into 2010 Saturn is gone and on the 18th January Jupiter, planet of luck moves into your income sector, for the first time since he left in February 2000. While Jupiter visits your income sector once every 11 to 12 years, creating your luckiest income year in a decade, this is the first time since 1928 that Uranus and Jupiter have been here at the same time. They're ready to completely turn things around, making 2010 one of your biggest income years ever. There is going to be some pressure though, but it's nothing you haven't handled before and nothing you're not prepared for, for this time you have luck on your side. Saturn returns to your financial sector from the 8th April to the 22nd April and at the same time Uranus leaves your income sector on the 28th May and Jupiter on the 6th June. There is a lot of coming and going in the middle months of the year, with Uranus returning to your income sector on the 14th August and Jupiter on the 9th September. Keep a note of these dates, for as confusing as they may seem now, this is when you'll have pockets of pressure, which in turn are destined to lead to significant breakthroughs. This is a huge money year, with an opportunity to completely turn things around. The thing you can't do is engage autopilot, for this is a fly by wire year.
