This weekend got hot in New York! Temperatures were up around the 31degree mark and for us here… that is something after a long and freezing winter. What some of you may not know about the big apple is that it gets VERY humid. You can count on summer hair frizz and your hair tied back/up a lot. There is nothing like humidity to shape a natural curl.

We walked to D.U.M.B.O. (Down Under The Manhattan Bridge Overpass) on Saturday and walked a street fair in our neighbourhood on Sunday. We checked out a friend’s stoop sale (the New York equivalent to garage sale) and had yummy Brooklyn pizza for dinner. Exhausted, we fell into bed and heavily slept until our yummy little man woke us early this morning for a feed. There goes another weekend and the completion of yet another week!

What’s in store for the coming week… housework, workouts, shopping, castings, hair appointment, acupuncture, paperwork, play dates and a date with my husband.
