We made it to Australia. The flight went very smoothly considering it was the first time Steve and I traveled with a toddler and baby. The kids did very well on our journey from New York to Sydney. Levi slept most of the way and we somehow managed to keep Mila in her seat with books, activities and a DVD or two.

What was the most difficult aspect you ask… juggling two needs at the same time. Divide and conquer is what we seem to do at the moment. Thank goodness I had Steve to help me with the kids… this time anyway.

So it’s back to work for me as a new mother of two little ones. I had my first casting when Levi was two weeks old and although I’m limiting myself to the kind of work I do and where it is, I’m looking forward to returning to my profession.

I’ve had a few months off and feel revived and ready to launch back into a solid year of work! Sometimes, it’s good to be able to separate yourself from your career to gain a new and healthy perspective and to be grateful for what you do and have… even a well-deserved holiday will do nicely.

So this coming week I travel to my shoots with nursing pump in hand. I have become a pro at that… nursing and working. Fortunately for me, my clients respect what I must do as a nursing mother in order to work with me. How times have changed for the working mother of a newborn babe! Yeah!

My daughter and I returned to New York a few days ago... back to real life and the big apple. The plane ride never gets shorter! Why is that?

Mila is a wonderful traveler thank goodness and fortunately my mother-in-law returned with us. It was a HUGE help to have an extra set of hands and lap whilst traveling. She will spend three short weeks in a chilly and brisk New York autumn/fall. It is a beautiful time of the year here in my opinion.

It is one thing to travel with an 18 month old toddler and another when you're 6 months pregnant. My husband and I are expecting a child at the end of January so if you're wondering why is it that Ljubenka is looking a little "rounder" and "fuller" in the next catalogue, you now know why.

We are thrilled of course to be expanding our family and giving our daughter a sibling to play with and share her life with. Life I expect will be full and complete at the same time with many lessons to learn and experiences to enjoy.

Here I am at home in New York. The weather is fabulous and summer is here! My Sara dresses for spring/summer are already getting a work out on the streets of this great city. I am stylin' it!

Within 24 hours of returning home, I was back on another plane heading to the west coast of the States for work. No rest for the wicked as they say. Since then, my feet haven't touched the ground (yet again)... my US clients must have missed me so it's work, work, work! I am thrilled!

My trip to Australia seems like a blur now although I'm still getting over the insane traffic of Sydney. Unbelievable! The government hasn't planned or anticipated an increase in the city's population it seems! The M5 for example has TWO lanes!!! Why didn't they plan for four? What a waste of time for the commuters and a test of ones patience.

Some days, I was in the car for almost five hours traveling to and from the shoot. Not something I have to put up with in New York thank goodness. Something needs to be done about the traffic and congestion on the roads of this world... does anyone have an answer or a solution?

For this weeks post it seems appropriate to offer you some of my travel tips (as requested), especially since I've been traveling weekly to a U.S. city this past month for work. The more you travel the more you get to know what works for you and your itinerary. Remember... less is more!

Checked-in luggage:
* I don't have more outfits packed than full days away. For example, if I'm away for five days, I'll have no more than five outfits on hand (one for each day)
* I always make sure I can mix and match my outfits. Using the example above, I'd pack a pair of pants or a skirt or dress and a pair of jeans, five tops and one maybe two jackets/coats (depending on the weather and the destination) that will go with pretty much everything
* Two pairs of shoes, one flat and one with a heel (day and evening covered) and a pair of comfy shoes that I wear on the plane
* Accessories that can mix and match for all five days
* Essential toiletries only
* Pajamas/sleepwear
* Underwear
* A pair of slippers for the hotel
* A travel candle or incense
* Travel adapters (if traveling overseas)
* Charger for camera

Carry-on luggage:
* A must is a pashmina or scarf as it's always too cold for me on the plane
* A long sleeve top or cardigan (as above) and socks
* Sunglasses
* Eye mask and ear plugs as I need to be able to zone out and sleep no matter whether it's day or night
* A book or magazine
* iPod
* Camera
* Hand cream, eye cream, toothpaste & brush, lip conditioner, face moisturizer, perfume/essential oil, eyelash curler and lip gloss/lipstick (travel size where possible)
* Bottles of water
* Clean underwear (in case your checked in baggage goes astray)
* Any vitamins/minerals or medication (as above)
* Phone and phone charger (as above)
* Healthy snacks, usually nuts in case I get hungry
* Breath mints
